About Laurelin
I studied Literature as an undergraduate, graduating summa cum laude, and began a PhD in Critical Theory but withdrew in the first year to focus on writing and visual art. I have worked as a writer and sculptor for twenty years, co-own and operate an illustration and graphic design business and have been an editor and researcher on five publications in art history and music, including Bauhaus’s UNDEAD, Scripps College’s CLAY’S TECTONIC SHIFT, Billy Steinberg’s career retrospective, I MADE IT THROUGH THE WILDERNESS, ELTON JOHN'S - GOODBYE YELLOW BRICK ROAD retrospective book, and the forthcoming COMPANY 3 retrospective book. My first poetry collection, THE BEAST INSIDE AND I, was recently published by Invocation Records and Press.
